Tragic Boating Accident Claims the Life of 15-Year-Old Ella Riley Adler
Ella Riley Adler, a 15-year-old ballerina from Miami, tragically lost her life in a boating accident on May 11 near a Key Biscayne beach in Florida. The incident occurred while she was waterskiing in Biscayne Bay on a Saturday afternoon, May 11, 2024. The boat involved in the accident reportedly fled the scene, leaving authorities searching for the suspect.

Ella Riley Adler was not only an accomplished ballerina but also an outstanding student and an active member of the Jewish Student Association and speech and debate team at Ransom Everglades School. Described as a “force of nature,” Ella was proud of her Jewish identity and was known for her compassion and commitment to speaking up for what was right. She was a girl who loved to dance, cherished her friendships, and above all, adored her family deeply.
