Alteondra Nicole Williams, a vibrant 18-year-old from Palatka, tragically passed away on June 28, 2023, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Clay County. She was known for her active involvement in JROTC during her high school years and her dedication to her job at Zaxby’s for close to 4 years. Beyond her commitments, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music, styling hair and makeup for her friends, and engaging in outdoor activities such as riding four wheelers and dirt bikes. Her passing was deeply mourned by her family, friends, and the community, leaving behind cherished memories of her vibrant spirit and joyful presence.

The Tragic Event

  • Two individuals, Derrick Evans, 20, and Clifton Flagler Jr., 22, were charged for their involvement in a collision that led to the death of 18-year-old Alteondra Williams.
