Former High School Teacher and Cheerleading Coach Accused of Sexual Abuse
Matthew Huck and Michal Paige Huck: Allegations of Sexual Abuse Spanning 15 Years
A civil lawsuit filed in federal court has alleged that administrators at a Gallia County high school knew that Matthew Huck, a former teacher and wrestling coach, and his ex-wife, Michal Paige Huck, a former substitute teacher and cheerleading advisor, engaged in sexual conduct with several students over a span of about 15 years. The lawsuit details numerous disturbing incidents involving as many as eight students, including multiple high schoolers who were athletes at River Valley High School in Bidwell, Ohio.
Allegations of Sexual Abuse
The allegations include hosting co-ed sleepovers, parties, and “lock-ins” at their home, during which some of the sexual activity occurred, including playing pornography on a TV for the students. The lawsuit states that Paige Huck “engaged in sexual intercourse with numerous male students” while her husband watched during a lock-in in November 2004. Additionally, there are reports of inappropriate sexual conduct and activities facilitated by both Matthew and Michal Paige Huck, involving multiple students over the years.
