An Arrest Has Been Made in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Texas Teen, Kaitlin Hernandez
There are recent developments in the investigation of the death of, Kaitlin Hernandez, a teenage girl, aged 17, that occurred earlier this year on the Northeast Side of San Antonio, TX.
According to reports, a 15-year-old boy has been apprehended in relation to the incident. The family of Kaitlin Hernandez has revealed that the individual involved was acquainted with her.
A hearing took place on Wednesday May 8, 2024 in the morning at the Juvenile Court of Bexar County.
According to a statement from San Antonio Police officials, they made an arrest after Kaitlin’s DNA matched that of the person she was last seen with.
On March 12, the body of Kaitlin Hernandez was discovered in a drainage ditch near Lanark Drive, along Del Oak Drive.
Kaitlin was last seen going for a walk with a male friend. When her family didn’t hear from her for several hours, they started searching. The police attempted to call her cell phone, but received no response. Later, a man answered the phone and claimed he found it in a drainage ditch. He then met with the family and returned the phone.
